One of the largest and most fascinating parks for children is the Tropical Islands amusement park located in Halbe, Brandenburg Lands, 60 km from Berlin. It is located in the former hangar for airships and is one of the largest and capacious buildings in the world. The park is divided into thematic areas: a tropical village, a rainforest, a Balinese lagoon, and the Southern Sea. There is a huge number of buildings typical for Thailand, Samoa, and Borneo. In the forest, there are tropical plants featuring more than 50 thousand species. There is a huge swimming pool stylized under the sea with a sandy beach and sun loungers. Europa-park in Rust is the second most visited after the French Disneyland. It has 16 thematic departments representing different countries, including Germany, France, Austria, Russia, and Portugal. Charlottenburg Palace

The beautiful Charlottenburg Palace is located on the territory of the district of the same name in Berlin. It was built by the order of Queen Sophia Charlotte in 1699. The Queen was the wife of Frederick I. The palace was originally called Lietzenburg. It was renamed Charlottenburg by order of the king after the Queen died. The palace was supplemented with new buildings for many years after its foundation. It gradually turned into a fairly large-scale structure. It is one of Berlin's most recognizable landmarks today thanks to its 48-meter-high dome.

KASCADE-Grande Lab

The KASCADE-Grande installation is located in Karlsruhe. It was formed by specialists from the Technical Institute. It is a large ground network consisting of 252 detector stations. They are designed to study extensive air showers. These showers are the result of the impact of cosmic rays on the earth's atmosphere. Their energy is very high. The very first launch of the KASCADE-Grande experimental installation took place in 1996. The new improved KASCADE-Grande station started operating in 2003.
