These are Denmark, Germany and neighboring Scandinavian countries. Flensburg was joined to the territory of Germany in the beginning of the 18th century. This is one of few cities which have survived during World War II, so its historical and cultural heritage is rather diverse. Many buildings of different epochs have survived here.
