Today, one of the most visited cultural institutions of the city is the Faberge Museum. Its founder is a famous Russian artist and collector Aleksandr Nikolaevich Ivanov, the museum opened in 2009. This museum is the only one in the world, which holds the works of Karla Faberzhe exclusively. Currently, the exhibition of the museum has about 700 unique pieces, including the world-famous Imperial Easter eggs. Miniature figures of animals made of precious metals, cigarette cases, and a beautiful collection of jewellery attracts thousands of visitors to the museum.
