Preserved history of Spain: long-standing and ancient hotels

Spain has a rich history. There is even a special concept - parador - in the tourism industry of the country. It stands for hotels set in ancient castles. One of the most famous examples is the Parador de Alarcon in the city of Cuenca. The hotel is located in an ancient Arab fortress of the 7th century; its interior has preserved medieval spirit.
