A true piece of modern architecture is the Sail skyscraper; its height is more than 134 meters. Its permanent symbol is Technion, the awesome Institute of Technology opened in 1912. There is also the Haifa Museum of Art, which collection includes more than 7,000 exhibits in the district. You should definitely take a stroll through the picturesque Moshava Germanit district; its main symbols are Templars’ houses. In the second half of the 19th century on the site of the present district a small German settlement was founded. According to the latest census, at least 700 people live in kibbutz. The settlement was founded relatively recently, in 1937. Currently Tirat Zvi is one of the nation's largest mass production centers, as well as a leader in production dates.
