It’s worth to begin a tour around historical heritage of Uppsala with the legendary medieval Slottet Castle. It was built in the mid16th century; during its long history, fascinating fortifications have witnessed important historical events. Currently, the part of the castle houses an art museum with a collection of paintings of the first half of the 20th century.
