The Museum of Architecture and Design in Ljubljana invites all comers to get acquainted with the development of the country's architecture in the 20th-21st centuries, things created by Slovenian designers, posters, magazines, calendars, 12 thousand photos in different techniques, old cameras, and much more. The War Museum is located in the town of Logatec. This is a private collection displaying artifacts of Slovenian military history from ancient times to the War of Independence in 1991. The Kluže Fortress was built in the middle of the 15th century in Bovec to protect it from the Turks. The hospital built at the beginning of the 40's by guerrilla forces is located in a gorge in the mountains. The Nazi invaders have repeatedly tried to find the hospital but did not succeed. The hospital had successfully operated until the very end of the war.
