Many popular ski trails for intermediate skiers start in Felskinn
that is located at the height of 3,000 metres. The station can be reached by Alpine Express. This place is particularly popular with snowboarders as there is a quality half-pipe nearby. The peak of Allalinhorn
can be reached by local metro that has become a true local landmark. The peak is the start of several ski trails labeled as “red” and “blue”, and there is one more half-pipe for snowboarders.
The last metro station, Mittelallalin
, is also worth visiting as some of the most famous landmarks of the region are located there, namely, the ice grotto and the revolving mountain restaurant. The longest “red” ski trail, the length of which is 14 kilometres, starts not far away from the station. Travellers, who only start mastering alpine skiing, are recommended to start from trails located on Plattjen
mountain. These trails have one great advantage – they end directly in the resort. Copyright www.orangesmile.com
