The total length of all trails is 194km, out of which 17.5km are suitable for beginners. The majority of trails, approximately 106 kilometers, are focused on skiers of the intermediate level. Not only fans of skiing but also snowboarders will enjoy their stay in Zermatt. The Plateau Rosa glacier is the best place for them. Despite the fact that it is located in Italy, the glacier’s trails and services are available to guests of the Swiss resort. The Teodulo glacier is one more must-visit place that is famous for its high-quality Gravity Park for snowboarders that is recognized as one of the best parks in the world. The resort provides 3 types of ski-pass to vacationers, and each of the passes is valid for a different period of time that can be 1, 6 or 13 days. The ski pass for 13 days gives the highest savings. ZERMATT is the most affordable ski pass. A ski-pass for 1 day for an adult will cost about 75 francs, but the pass for 13 days – about 646 francs. The ZERMATT-CERVINIA ski pass will be a bit more expensive - its price for 1, 6, and 13 days is approximately 86, 423, and 734 francs respectively. The Matterhorn ski-lifts –Cervinia is the most expensive ski pass. Its price for the periods mentioned above is 91, 433, and 64 francs respectively.

It is worth noting that the resort has a beneficial system of discounts for children and pensioners. Children under 9 years can use platter pulls for free. There is also a 50% discount for children aged 9 to 16. Women older than 63 and men older than 65 years are entitled to a 25% discount. In spite of the fact that Zermatt is one of the most expensive alpine resorts, first-class facilities, and developed infrastructure fully compensate its high prices.
