Sudak is famous for its unique historical monuments and archeological districts. The spectacular monument of the Middle Ages is the Genoese Fortress built in the 14th-15th centuries. The fortress is located on top of the bluff rock that made the construction almost impregnable. Exactly this fact let the historical monument survive to this day. Now, the medieval fortress is a place where historical festivals and performances are regularly held. It is very interesting to visit the fortress in the context of the usual sightseeing tour. The top of the mountain has a spectacular view of the resort area. The guests of Sudak can combine the sightseeing with active entertainments by visiting the big modern waterpark. Its square is over 2 hectares. On the territory of the waterpark, there are pools for children and adults and different rides. It is interesting to spend time in the waterpark even with small children, as there are special playgrounds for them. Extreme fans will not be bored here too, as there are several special rides. The fans of sea entertainments should certainly drop in the local dolphinarium called “Nemo”. Interesting performances with dolphins and sea lions are annually held for the visitors. A lot of additional services are also available for the guests of the dolphinarium. This also serves as a special wellness center. Here, children with different diseases can get the dolphin therapy. Nearly every city of Ukraine is interesting and original. Naturally, the majority of places of interest are located in Kiev. The Golden Gate is considered the symbol of the city. Many centuries ago this was the main entrance to Kiev. The gate is decorated with copper and gilding, so the arc looks truly elegant. In the 18th century new buildings were constructed around the gate. The gate lost its original meaning and was, consequently, destroyed. Nowadays the landmark was reconstructed, and the ruins of the original gate can be seen behind the new one.
