A huge number of beautiful half-timbered houses usually photographed by travelers have remained here. The imposing architectural building - the Archbishop's Palace – is located next to the cathedral. After touring historic sites visitors can stroll through the beautiful ancient garden; there is the famous Liban cedar on its territory. The height of this mighty tree is 33 meters and age is about two hundred years. One of the most visited cultural venues of the city - the Museum of Fine Arts – is in the garden too. Its collection is very diverse and will impress even those who haven’t shown much interest in the culture before. Another important attraction of Tours is located on the Place Plumereau; we are talking about the old Basilica of Sant-Martn.
