The Selous Game Reserve, which is added in the list of protected sites by UNESCO, is another great destination for safari. On an area of 50,000 sq. kilometres it’s possible to see elephants, cheetahs, wild dogs, black rhinos, crocodiles and other wild animals. This is the 2nd largest game reserve in Africa. Unique archaeological area is located on the shores of Lake Rukwa in the south-western part of the country. For two seasons, researchers were searching for priceless artifacts. Professional excavators and miners were involved in excavations.
