6. Purchases should be paid in national currency which can be exchanged in one of the banks or private currency exchange offices. Expert travelers claim that the most profitable rates for currency exchange are at home as local financial institutions offer considerably lower rates.

Travelers visiting Nerja for the first time should visit a local tourist information center Oficina de turismo as it will provide useful leaflets with descriptions of main landmarks absolutely free. In tourist centers travelers may specify the schedule of public and cultural events, tours and excursions as well.
8. To rent a car a driver will need a standard set of documents including international driving license, passport and international credit card to cover the rental cost. Drivers under 23 years old as well those drivers with driving experience less than a year may be denied in service rendering. A rental rate will totally depend on the car brand and class.
