The French city of Meribel is primarily associated with a ski resort. And it's not for nothing, as it boasts some of the best ski slopes in France. The proximity to Vanoise National Park gives the city some charm, attracting tourists from all over the world to the resort town. The guardians of the resort town are majestic dragons - the fact is that along the entire length of Dragon de l'Altaï, one can admire incredibly beautiful figures of dragons. The park has a couple of benches where you can sit down and enjoy the fresh air and beautiful views amid the graceful keepers. Having gone down, one can discover another area with dragons to admire. You can do this from the window of a cafe located here.
With children, it's worth visiting several more facilities in Meribel - namely, restaurants and cafes that serve amazingly delicious sweets. As is known, the French are really good at this, and that’s why you should treat little travelers to something yummy at Chez Denise & Lucette (serves excellent pancakes), Pizza 32 (serves great pizza, as one might guess), as well as La Terrasse du Village (a must-try is fruit desserts). Another nice place is De 7 A 77 Ans, where they prepare delicious biscuit cookies.
