Family trip to Meribel with children. Ideas on where to go with your child

The French city of Meribel is primarily associated with a ski resort. And it's not for nothing, as it boasts some of the best ski slopes in France. The proximity to Vanoise National Park gives the city some charm, attracting tourists from all over the world to the resort town. Many of them come with children, which is indeed a good idea - children and the whole family will certainly have something to do here.

First and foremost, this is skiing and snowboarding. Training is carried out prior to any descent, and children are being prepared in the most thorough manner. Little tourists will surely appreciate this kind of entertainment, especially since there are all conditions for this in the city. The resort has many wonderful ski slopes to be tried out be everyone - for example, La Folie Douce Meribel-Courchevel, Les Allues, La Tania, and the most famous Les 3 Vallées. You can also take a joint photo and watch a film about the ski resort.
Children would also like time spent at Spa Nuxe Kaila. Here, besides a pool, you can enjoy sauna and massage for adults (children are welcome too, however, they would rather prefer playing in the pool). Among other things, the interior is nicely decorated here. Another great facility of this kind is located in nearby Courchevel and is called Aquamotion Courchevel. Here, apart from pools appreciated by people of all ages, interesting water rides await kids, and all this is in the open air. There is also a recreation room for the whole family. The guardians of the resort town are majestic dragons - the fact is that along the entire length of Dragon de l'Altaï, one can admire incredibly beautiful figures of dragons. The park has a couple of benches where you can sit down and enjoy the fresh air and beautiful views amid the graceful keepers. Having gone down, one can discover another area with dragons to admire. You can do this from the window of a cafe located here.
With children, it's worth visiting several more facilities in Meribel - namely, restaurants and cafes that serve amazingly delicious sweets. As is known, the French are really good at this, and that’s why you should treat little travelers to something yummy at Chez Denise & Lucette (serves excellent pancakes), Pizza 32 (serves great pizza, as one might guess), as well as La Terrasse du Village (a must-try is fruit desserts). Another nice place is De 7 A 77 Ans, where they prepare delicious biscuit cookies.
