Karlsruher Schloss Karlsruhe Technical University remains one of the main symbols of the city. The university was founded in 1825. It is considered one of the oldest and best technical universities in the country. However, curious travelers will be interested in visiting the university from the architectural point of view. The eastern part of the city is the location of another important architectural object - Schloss Gottesaue, which was built in the 9th century.
