Francis Winspear Centre for Music, Edmonton

Its central part has holes at the sides and above, due to which the tower stands out from other similar buildings. The business center consists of a two-storey building and a glass tower. The 27-storey skyscraper is 123 m high. At the first level, there are a lot of boutiques, shops for men and women. There are also a lot of food outlets. There is an underground parking area for passenger cars. In the tower, there are head offices of leading domestic and foreign companies. The corporate shopping center is linked with Manulife Place by the pedestrian crossing. The total area of the complex is 70 044 m2. Commerce Place is among the top 10 high constructions in the city.
St. John Cathedral, Edmonton

» The House of God is headed by the bishop and belongs to the Ukrainian administrative and territorial unit in Canada.
» The religious school at St. John Cathedral was founded in 1965. The Diaspora of Ukrainian people settling in Edmonton used it for educational purposes. » St. John was the predecessor of Messiah. He predicted the appearance of Jesus Christ. To keep faith, he traveled to the desert and lived as a hermit there. During services, he invited Jews to wash their hands, cleanse them from unrest, and be closer to God. He faced a painful death and was beheaded. He is considered as a historical figure.
» Two chapels were added to the main brick building. They have a pear-shaped dome and are crowned by Orthodox crosses.
