Although Cottbus cannot boast the great variety of noisy entertainment centers, it offers excellent opportunities for enjoying sports and outdoor activities. An interesting symbol of the city is the old railway Parkeisenbahn Cottbus, the route of which passes through the most beautiful areas. Anyone can take a ride on the old train along the road that passes through the territory of beautiful parks and near famous attractions. Such train tours are especially popular among tourists with children. Another unusual entertainment is stagecoach rides around the city that typically last about two hours. The city has a wonderful zoo - Tierpark Cottbus, which will be a great place for a family holiday. It occupies an area of about 25 hectares and gives shelter to more than 1,200 animals from various parts of the world.
