At the foothills of the Julian Alps, thirty-two kilometers from Ljubljana Airport, there is the gorgeous Lake Bled. The town with the same name is situated at the lakeshore. Bled is an enchanting place with its own unique nature supplied by the healing thermal springs. In summer, water in the Lake Bled warms up to eighteen – twenty four degrees by Celsius. The surface of the lake almost never gets frozen in winter except for periods of extreme cold. This peculiarity differs the lake from other water reservoirs of the region. Thanks to it, Lake Bled is great for tourism all year round. This resort is a fantastic place to relax with friends, family, and even with small children. The beauty of the region will strike you as soon as you arrive in this paradise-like place. It is simply impossible not to notice how generous nature is in this part of the country. The area is not deprived of various architectural landmarks, but a big number of thermal springs are the main attraction that Bled is famous for. Tourists, who want to swim in the lake, should visit the resort in the period from July to September. Swimming is available during these months.
