There is no night entertainment on Yasawa, except for those activities that are organized by animators in the resorts and hotels. But the evening programs are quite varied and interesting so that guests won’t be bored here. Many hotels offer traditional themed nights where tourists can see and participate in the rituals, rites and dances of the indigenous peoples of Fiji. Invited national musical groups and hotel animators perform at such events. In addition, the major resorts have their own discos and bars open until late at night. But people go to Yasawa Islands looking for outdoor water activities. Divers from all over the world are eager to get here and explore the waters of the archipelago. There are excellent conditions for diving and there are diving centres where you can be trained and find an accompanying instructor to explore the depths of the sea. The largest of them is the Dive Yasawa Lagoon club. There are courses for beginners, and you can rent equipment for diving. Experienced divers are more attracted by the Yasawa Dive centre, which organizes Safari tours with diving in the most picturesque places around Nanuya Lailai island. The ideal place for diving and snorkelling is Tivua Island, where you can see the magnificent coral reefs and various marine life: colourful fish, seahorses, moray eels and turtles, schools of mackerel and tuna.
