The city is located in a picturesque piedmont area and is considered one of the oldest settlements in the country. During the Middle Ages here lived the nobles. They were building their villas in the beautiful woods and forests of this place, on the tops of hills that feature wonderful views.

Today the church is decorated with beautiful paintings and stained glass, and there is also a font of great beauty made of black marble. Only several sculptures have left from the old church.
You should definitely visit St. Mary's Chapel, which was completed in 1654. You can see an image of death on the altar of the chapel. Such an unusual monument reminds visitors of the plague which appeared here in the beginning of the 17th century.
