Guam is the largest island of Mariana Islands located in the south of the archipelago, on the west side of the Pacific Ocean and not far away from Mariana Trench – the deepest place in the world where often appear typhoons that later reach South-East Asia. The island is situated almost on the equator. Historically Guam was created in the result of merging of two volcano tops. Both volcanoes came under water millions of years ago. Climatic and geographic conditions, history, traditions and culture of Guam don’t have any serious differences from other islands of Mariana Archipelago.
