South Sinai is a nice place not only for those who love beach holidays and sightseeing tours. There are many natural attractions which every tourist should definitely visit. For example, local hot springs, better known as Moses springs. According to a legend, they appeared when Moses brought the Jews out of slavery. Many people were thirsty after crossing the bottom of the red sea, and then the prophet struck his staff on the ground and water began to flow immediately. Pharaoh baths, other thermal springs, are located a hundred kilometres to the South. Be sure to visit Coloured Canyon. It is a rock formation on Sinai peninsula. It is a labyrinth of rocks, some of them have about 40 meters. The canyon is almost 800 meters long.
