Despite the small size of the town, you can buy all the main Canarian souvenirs at quite attractive prices here. Thousands of tourists provide jobs for almost all citizens. So there are many souvenir shops in the Old Town and on the Avenida de las Playas. If you want to find cheaper souvenirs, then go deep into the town away from the beaches. The largest shopping center on the entire island is located in Puerto del Carmen. It is a four-story Biosfera Plaza. There are boutiques Lacoste, Diesel, and many other stores of the world's leading manufacturers of clothing and footwear here. If you want more variety, you can go to the capital's Arrecife or for a couple of days in Tenerife. Please note that you will not find a large selection of fur boots or warm jackets here.
