1. The city has excellent public transport system. Buses cruise around the streets from 6:00 am to 8:00-9:00 pm. Travelers who expect to use services of public transport actively, have to buy a travel card. The benefit will be quite apparent, and if after purchase you manage to keep a bill, then it will be possible to return 15% of the ticket price, when leaving the country.
2. Many local stores have discounts for students, but you definitely have to have relevant documents to use special offers. Some stores may notify clients about discounts with special signage, but that’s rather an exception. It’s better to ask in advance about discount for students at the box office.
3. Shoppers are welcome to visit Leeds during sales; at this time, prices decrease virtually in all stores. Usually sales are held in June and after Christmas holidays.
