In the surroundings of Hersonissos, there is a lot of historical and archeological attractions. One of the unique sites is the Knossos Palace. According to the legends, King Minos lived in the palace. Over 3 000 years ago, the Labyrinth of the Minotaur was located exactly here. Initially, the palace had about a thousand halls.
