Radisson to Open Two New Resorts in Italy

News Radisson Hotel Group will soon open two hotels in Italy that will be operating under the company’s brand, Radisson Individuals. These are a hotel in Syracuse, Sicily, and one more hotel in Alagna Valsesia, Piedmont. Both the properties will be opened in partnership with the Mira Group.

The first hotel, Borgo di Luce I Monasteri Golf Resort & Spa, enjoys a peaceful location in Southern Sicily only ten minutes away from Syracuse. The secluded countryside location makes this Radisson Individuals hotel is a perfect destination for a peaceful gateway. The hotel is open in a thousand-year-old villa that once was a Benedictine monastery. In different years, it was a residence of the barons of Melilli and the noble family of the Catalans. The villa underwent an extensive renovation that turned it into a hotel. The hotel consists of the villa and two more buildings located in a tranquil area with numerous olive trees, carob trees, and citrus groves.

This hotel near Syracuse is a perfect choice for guests who seek privacy and comfort. Borgo di Luce I Monasteri Golf Resort & Spa has 102 guest rooms, each of which has a private entrance on the ground floor. Inside the hotel, guests will find classic to contemporary furnishings – the style of rooms depends on the building. Many rooms have private verandas. It would be a mistake to forget to mention the hotel’s golf course. The 18-hole par 71 golf course, I Monasteri Golf Club, is a charming place surrounded by citrus and fig plantations. As the golf course was designed by Studio Mazzacane, a famous golf architect company, visitors can be sure of the quality and compliance to the highest standards. Guests are welcome to visit Syracuse any time they want. This city, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site, is famous for its ancient architecture.

The second hotel, the Alagna Mountain Resort & Spa, is open in Alagna Valsesia, a popular mountain resort in the Piedmont region near the Monte Rosa, the second-highest mountain in Western Europe. This resort has 49 luxurious suites that feature decent “Walser” chalet-style vibes and come with private balconies or mezzanines.

This resort will particularly appeal to fans of winter sports as the Alagna Mountain Resort is a part of the Pennine Alps, and so it is fast and simple to reach ski lifts, off-piste, and freeriding slopes from the hotel. In the summer months, this region is perfect for mountain climbing, trekking, biking, and river sport on the Sesia River.
