Green City was designed in the middle of last century by the leading architects of the country (Tapiola). Built on the principles of conservation and restoration of nature, now it’s a part of Espoo and a favorite place of rest for residents of Espoo as well as newcomers. To the service of tourists and residents are various department stores, specialty stores, cafes, restaurants and, of course, beautiful hotels.
Espoo residents recommend visitors of the city to take advantage of the platform installed on one of the high-rise buildings in the center of Tapiola. Here visitors will be able to admire magnificent landscapes of diverse and remarkably harmonious nature of this country.

In the city surroundings, there is the Raseborg Castle. The magnificent strengthening construction has been only partially preserved to this day. The exact date of the castle construction is not known. It is suggested that it was built in 1374. The castle was constructed on the cliff top and was used as intended until the 19th century. Today, the historical building is being reconstructed. For the natives, the ruins of the fortress are a place where interesting events are often held. Here, unusual markets in the medieval style are opened and festivals and fairs are held.
