A colorful month-long festival in a tropical paradise - what could be better? For those who find it difficult to answer this question, the Carnival is held in mid or late February. It is divided into several stages: the Tumba Festival opens the Carnival (beauty contest for the title of King and Queen of the festival), in the following weekend, there are colorful parades led by children and teenagers, and then the processions move to the countryside.
