Germany has many hidden gems that are not widely known to the general public. The resort town of Binz is one of them. This is an incredibly beautiful place that cordially welcomes its guests. The resort is the most popular destination on the Baltic Sea island of Rügen. At the moment, the settlement doesn’t have the town status. Five centuries later, the settlement became famous as a resort town. The first guests arrived in 1860 and stayed at a local guesthouse. Ten years later, the new resort could accommodate already 80 guests. Year after year, Binz was growing in size. The town’s authorities built the first hotel in 1876. It was located close to the coast. Binz kept growing, and new hotels were appearing in it. A greater number of guests started visiting this resort in order to enjoy a nice vacation together with their families, admire the beautiful local nature, and breathe the fresh sea air.
