The main architectural sight of the resort is a monastery built in the 16th century. It is located on one of the local rocks and is surrounded by a beautiful park. The yard in front of the monastery is made of marble and decorated with a magnificent fountain. The town also has several museums, the most notable of which are the National Museum and the Marine Museum. In the first one you will find prehistoric artifacts and other discoveries of archeologists, and the second museum contains rich collection of the local flora and fauna.

In the immediate vicinity of the resort is an interesting nature reserve - the Cape Greco. It occupies an area of 380 hectares, and provides a great choice of tourist. You can simply take a stroll around the park and admire its inhabitants, or you can go on a cycling tour in search of the most beautiful places. Within the reserve there are several limestone caves, which can only be seen at low tide. These caves attract many visitors including divers. Cape Greco is considered one of the most romantic places in the world. There is a beautiful arch, which is called "Bridge of Love", and even an old church, which hosts wedding ceremonies. 

Among the historical attractions of Ayia Napa, the Venetian monastery stands out. The history of the monastery building is fascinating; a few hundred years ago, a dense forest was located in its place. It was later cut down, leaving just one sycamore tree alive. It continues to grow in the territory of the monastery and now the old tree impresses with its size. According to the tradition, the monastery was founded directly over the cave where the locals once found an icon of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The Monastery is remarkable from an architectural point of view, as it is partly carved into the rock. Today it is a very intriguing museum. 

For those fond of exceptional excursions suitable attractions are also present, for example, the donkey farm. This small farm is always welcome to visitors, and, for a small fee interesting tours can be. Guests of the farm will be able to see the conditions in which animals are bred, and to even look after them. A nice addition to the vacation will be a small donkey riding tour, which will take place around the nearby farms. 

In the eastern part of the resort is the original Sculpture Park. Here the coast shows some interesting sculptures in the antique style, which look very impressive on the background of the rocky landscape. The park is always quiet and peaceful, and there are plenty of places for a private vacation. Many tourists come here specially to make unusual commemorative photos.
