Tourists interested in visiting one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world should visit Jericho. This is a Palestinian city on the bank of the Jordan River. The area, where the city is situated, is a desert. As the Dead Sea is situated twelve kilometers from the settlement, the area has unusual climatic conditions.
