The First Luxury Resort Opens on the World Islands in Dubai

News Tomorrow, the World Islands in Dubai will welcome its first hotel – the five-star Anantara World Islands Dubai Resort. The World Islands is an ambitious project consisting of 300 man-made islands approximately four kilometers away from the coast of Dubai. Built by Seven Tides, a hospitality company specializing in the luxury segment, the new hotel will be located on Clarence Island and will have a spectacular 2,000-square-meter private beach. Clarence Island, which has a total area of 142,000sqm, is a part of the South American continent in this project.

The new Dubai hotel is built to meet the needs of the most discerning customers. It’s a luxury lifestyle resort on Clarence Island where guests can remain in harmony with nature. Seven Tides is very excited about the opening and hopes that World Islands will become one of the most popular leisure destinations in the Middle East with decent recognition around the world. The Anantara resort on World Islands in Dubai is a unique place where travelers can experience true tranquility and enjoy proximity to major shopping centers, fine restaurants, golf courses, and incredible Dubai nightlife.

There are 70 rooms, suites, and villas in total. Rooms and suites offer striking ocean views and access to the private beach. Villas come with their own pools. To get to the resort, guests need to take a 10-minute boat ride from another hotel in Dubai by Anantara – The Palm Dubai Resort. The resort on Clarence Island opens this week but some of its features such as a gymnasium, a pool for all guests, and infinity pools for villa guests, will be available at a later date.

Much attention is paid to the food offerings of the new resort. It will feature five restaurants and bars with a range of cuisines for any taste. For example, Qamar will offer Indo-Arabian food, Grand House is a lobby café bar with a choice of quick and casual meals, and Helios is an all-day Mediterranean al fresco restaurant. Finally, there is Luna, a cocktail bar with wonderful panoramic views of the Dubai skyline.

The next phase of the hotel’s development will also bring a spa center with in-room treatments and cozy cabanas, a fitness club with yoga classes, the Tuk Tuk Kids’ Club, and a water sports club. Developing on a manmade island implies certain complications and difficulties, but the engineering and construction teams were able to overcome challenges, and now this unique development is ready for the grand opening.
