Radisson Opens a Hotel in Tianjin

News Radisson continues its expansion in China, this time bringing an upscale hotel to Tianjin, one of the most important ports in the country. Located in the central part of Tianjin, the new hotel is perfectly suitable for business travelers who visit this city but leisure tourists may also find it a good choice because of direct access to the Aqua City lifestyle mall. The most popular tourist attractions such as the Great Mercy Temple, Tianjin Ancient Culture Street, Italian Street, and Drum Tower are within reach. The distance to Tianjin West Railway Station is around 2km, and the distance to Tianjin Binhai International Airport is 25km. Nowadays, it is comfortable to reach Tianjin by high-speed trains coming from Shanghai and Beijing.

The Radisson hotel in Tianjin welcomed its first guests on 22nd November 2021. The hotel, which has 263 rooms and suites, features contemporary interiors with modern amenities and comfortable bathrooms. As Tianjin is an important business hub, the hotel offers MICE functionality including eight function rooms and 1,600 square meters of event space (a 710sqm grand ballroom is a part of it).

The hotel offers standard functionality for Radisson-operated properties such as a fitness center, an indoor pool, sauna and steam room, an all-day dining restaurant with Chinese and international cuisine, and a lobby lounge offering a variety of snacks and beverages. Eligible guests have access to exclusive services such as daily breakfast, private check-in and check-out, access to the Executive Lounge in the evening, and more.

Radisson Hotel Tianjin Aqua City is the second hotel by the Radisson brand in this Chinese city. As the importance of Tianjin as an industrial hub is likely to grow in the coming years, Radisson considers this tier-one city a strategic destination. With a population exceeding 12 million people, Tianjin is famous for its shipping industry, car manufacturing, petrochemicals, aerospace developments, and more. Naturally, there is a growing demand for high-quality hotels.

Radisson Hotel Group is rolling out several brands in China, trying to expand its presence in key cities, capitals of provinces, popular resorts, industrial zones, and destinations close to large amusement parks and other points of interest. At the moment, the group operates over 70 Radisson hotels in the Asia Pacific.
