News Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, is not only one of the most important business hubs in Southeast Asia. This is also a modern and vibrant city with many options for shopping, dining, and nightlife. Although the country is mostly Muslim, foreign tourists will not feel any significant limitations here. This is a wonderful destination for everyone who likes nightlife. Besides hotels in Kuala Lumpur, which often have bars and restaurants that stay open until late at night, there are many venues that everyone is welcome to visit. Malaysians live at night, and so the city accommodates to this rhythm. If you prefer to explore new places at three in the morning rather than sleep in your bed, Kuala Lumpur is a city that you need to visit.

Night markets have become one of the major attractions of Kuala Lumpur. There are several night markets in the capital. As a rule, they are located in residential areas. These areas usually become closed to vehicles starting from 6 pm. Later, merchants come to offer all kinds of goods. Souvenirs, artworks by local artisans, domestic and imported goods of different types, and local street food are the most popular categories of items sold at such markets.

Travelers interested in Kuala Lumpur nightlife should check its rooftop clubs. These venues offer gourmet food and music along with breathtaking views of the city skyline. Such venues as Marini’s on 57, Sky Bar, and Heli Lounge Bar have become popular with both locals and foreign guests. Of course, travelers can always check whether their Kuala Lumpur hotel has a bar and restaurant. Such entertainment as the casino is not available for guests of Kuala Lumpur because Muslim laws do not approve of gambling.

Right in the middle of the capital lays the popular area of Changkat Bukit Bintang. It looks very calm and tranquil in the daytime because it mostly comes alive after sunset. This is when multiple shops, bars, and cafes open their doors and lure guests with bright lights. There are also many food stalls in Changkat Bukit Bintang. Tourists can try authentic and budget-friendly local food here.

Finally, no vacation is complete without shopping. If you like shopping at night, Petaling Street is worth visiting. A part of Chinatown, this bustling street has all kinds of shops, as well as Chinese restaurants. Tourists can also find some interesting souvenirs here.
