Hard Rock Hotel in Madrid Welcomes Its First Guests

News It is always exciting to see new hotels being opened as this brings us back to normal life, which was so cruelly disrupted by the pandemic. This time, the capital of Spain greets a much-anticipated addition to its hotel supply. The Hard Rock hotel in Madrid is finally open and awaits its new guests.

Located in the Golden Triangle of Art, this hotel blends together beach recreation, music, art, history, and culinary. The vibrant spirit of Madrid is perfectly suitable for the Hard Rock brand. For the first time, this hotel brand was introduced to Europe in 2014, when Hard Rock opened a hotel in Ibiza. Later, another hotel in Tenerife joined the portfolio. The Madrid hotel has 161 rooms and suites sized from 194 square feet. There are rooms that face the capital for those who want to enjoy a vibrant city view and rooms that face the garden for a more tranquil atmosphere. A large event space and rooftop venues make this hotel suitable for meetings and celebrations.

In order to emphasize the nature of the hotel, there is a sculpture of a hanging guitar in the center of the property. Guests will see multiple artworks and a curated collection of music memorabilia throughout the hotel. The collection of Hard Rock hotel in Madrid exceeds 70 pieces at the moment, the most notable being a guitar of Antonio Vega (Madrid-native performer and songwriter), boots of David Bowie, and an outfit that Elvis Presley wore during his performance on NBC in 1968.

The prime location of the new hotel at the Triangulo de Oro del Arte makes it a great choice for both leisure and business travelers. Close proximity to such iconic landmarks as the Prado National Museum, the Reina Sofia National Museum, and the Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum make the new hotel a wonderful choice for those who want to dedicate much time to sightseeing. Besides the museums, guests can comfortably explore the Royal Botanical Gardens, the Atocha train station, and such neighborhoods as Lavapies and Embajadores on foot.

The Madrid hotel will also offer a selection of restaurants and bars that will appeal to both locals and guests of the capital. The Sessions restaurant will offer classic Spanish cuisine and local delicacies. It has a charming outdoor terrace. The RT60 bar on the roof of the building has a selection of gourmet snacks, a jamon carving station, and DJ music in the evening.
