Supai Village, USA Comparing to the small towns of the country, Supai is so far from big cities, that it managed to preserve its unique primeval environment. The main threat for the locals are harsh weather conditions. The last time, almost all the local settlers were evacuated in 2008. That year, a record amount of rainfall fell in a very short time. The valley, where Supai Village is situated, was almost completely inundated.

Only one year later, local residents were able to return to their homes that had to be rebuilt. However, none of them wanted to leave their hometown. In recent years. attention of tourists to the tiny mountain village increased significantly. Researchers and ordinary folks who are just tired from the urban rhythm of life like to visit these sites.
