The river Colorado, which flows through two countries - USA and Mexico, is a natural sight of the world. However, some picturesque stretches of the river are still neglected by the millions of tourists, although the few travelers have already treasured their unique beauty. The Water Basin Powell is one of the least explored sites. It is the second largest water basin USA and is located on two states - Utah and Arizona.
The length of this basin forms almost 300 km, and the width - about 40 km. The surface of the water basin is 1627 sq km. Powell simply looks wonderfully and is framed by the beautiful ocher rocks of the strange forms. The tourists can walk on the picturesque coasts of the water basin. The wealthy travelers prefer to rent the small plane Cessna and enjoy the landscapes of the water reservoir from the bird's eye view. This attraction is not cheap, but very impressive. 45 minutes flight over the Powell water basin costs about 150 US dollars.
