Donana National Park, Spain About 500,000 waterfowl come to winter in the park every year. This attracts ornithologists from all over the world. An important feature of the reserve is a special water ecosystem. There are hundreds of swamps, streams and rivers, lakes, and floodplains on its territory. It is this amount of freshwater that attracts rare waterfowl to these places. Beautiful pink flamingos are among them. Rare birds of prey are also found in the reserve. Gravedigger eagles and Golden eagles are among them. You can see them only in units of nature reserves in the world.

You can see the most interesting moving dunes in the coastal area of the national park. They continuously change their shape and position under the influence of the Atlantic wind. The amount of freshwater has greatly decreased in the national park due to the active development of the surrounding land in recent years. This led to the complete drying up of many waterways. Construction of any objects is prohibited near the reserve at present. Next - Tarrago
