Ronda, Spain The territory of the town is divided into two parts today – the old and the new one. The Puente Nuevo Bridge is a kind of border between them. This bridge was built in the early 18th century. It remains unchanged from the moment of construction. Many travelers prefer to climb down into the gorge of El Tajo. It is located under the bridge. They can admire the town below. The historical monument looks even more impressive from there.

You can see many snow-white houses while walking through the streets of the historic district. Locals call these houses "Pueblos Blancos". They make the historic district of Ronda very similar to the Greek island of Santorini. There is a very beautiful Alameda Del Tajo Park in the town. Some of its platforms offer a great view of the surrounding area. Many ancient churches are also preserved here. Some of them are more than 400 years old. There is also the ancient fortress of Murallas y Puertas Islámicas de Ronda. The house of the king of the Moors is one of the most beautiful architectural monuments. Next - Al-Hajjarah
