Since the moment of foundation, one of the main religious shrines - the icon of the Mother of God - has been kept in the monastery. On the Red Field you can see another religious landmark - the Church of the Nativity of Christ, which is now converted into a museum. Built in the late 14th century, the church is famous for its beautiful frescoes, which today form the basis of the museum's exposition.
