The founder of the unusual museum is one of the locals - Mr. Molina. When he began collecting the collection, he kept the first copies in his own garage. If there was no more space in the garage to preserve all the artefacts found on the rubbish he decided to open the museum. At present, the garbage museum is located in the large two-storey building. Its collection is clearly structured and therefore seems even more interesting.

The old lamps, the huge picture and poster collection, the old magazines and newspapers, the technology and the tiny trailers - these are only a few things that can be seen in the original New York museum. Every day after the closure, the museum workers bring the new bags with 'garbage artifacts' to carefully sort them and decide whether they fit to complement the huge collection. It is remarkable that the museum owner not only collects the interesting objects on the trash heap, but also repairs them. Many of the devices presented in the museum work.
