Supai Village is an Indian settlement in Arizona. It is one of the most remote, hard to get and beautiful place in the whole world. This small settlement has placed at the ground of the Grand Canyon. It is impossible to get there by even one overland transport. A postman comes here by mules. The nearby road has placed 13 kilometers away from the settlement. The only possible transport there is a helicopter.

Supai Village, USA The permanent population is a little more than 200 people. Within several years, Supai Village became a popular touristic place. Travelers come here in order to acquaint with the local daily life, culture and, of course, to walk at the ground of the Grand Canyon and adore with the unique beauty of these places. From the geological point of view, the settlement has placed in a quite dangerous and complex area. A great number of floods happens there yearly. They destroy not only houses but also roads.

The last great flood was in August, 2008. Locals were alerted about the long-lasting rains, that's why they were evacuated beforehand. Supai Village is often close for tourists because of such cataclysm. At the rain period this village is always closed for tourists. If you want to visit the village, be ready to a long walk on foot. Several years ago, there was opened a guest house but travellers prefer to stay at a tent camping. Also, there is a small cafe and a post office – the main sightseeing of this town.
