The last catastrophe has happened in the coastal region in 2011. The tropical shower has flooded several large districts and took a lot of people’s lives.

Researchers say that some Bangkok’s districts can be completely flooded and inhabited to 2030.

The ice melting on poles also influence on the present situation. The magazine "Geophysical Research Letters" had an article, where there were explained the danger of the ice melting.
