Tsarskoye Selo, Russia Catherine Park is an important part of the palace-and-park ensemble. Its area is 107 hectares. This magnificent garden was named in honor of Empress Catherine I. It is famous for its magnificent landscape decorations, an abundance of ancient trees, and wonderful ponds. The Grand Catherine Palace is located on the territory of the park. Work on its construction and decoration was completed in 1756. Its richly decorated facade of pale blue color is one of the most recognizable attractions.
