The Greek island of Amorgos is located not far from the more famous island of Santorini and has started to attract the tourists relatively recently. In addition to the enchanting beaches of unspoiled nature, the island is characterized by a unique architecture. Its streets are made of incredibly beautiful houses with snow-white walls. Wooden windows and doors are painted differently. Different plants and flowers that locals breed in pots give the urban streets even more magic look.

At present, the island’s population is about 2000 people. in addition to the fabulously beautiful old streets, you can see many unique historical sites and archaeological artifacts on its territory. One of the most interesting objects on the island are the ruins of Egiale. Here, archaeologists have discovered interesting inscriptions. They are dated 3 - 2 centuries BC and narrate that pirates came repeatedly to the island, took values from local residents ​​and even took prisoners.

On the territory of the island there is an interesting Archaeological Museum, its location is a beautiful Venetian tower.
