From series “Hotels Harmoniously Built into the Natural Landscape”Year: 1999.
The experienced travelers who visited Cappadocia know that the ancient subterranean cities are one of the main attractions of this region. These cities and cave monasteries were built by the first Christians more than 1,000 years ago. Today, some of the strange subterranean cities have been converted into the so-called cave hotels. One of the most beautiful is called Gamirasu, which was opened in the building of the ancient Byzantine monastery.
At the disposal of the hotel guests are 18 wonderful cave-rooms, the walls of which are covered with the volcanic stone and characterized by the high sound insulation. In addition, the wall layer creates a special microclimate in the caves. In the summer it is cool here, and in winter it is always warm, so you can relax in the cave hotel at any time of the year. The unusual hotel was opened in 1999 and offers the clients a wide choice of possibilities for interesting recreation.
