You can see the unfinished Szkieletor skyscraper in the heart of Krakow. Its height is 92 meters. It was planned before the start of construction that this skyscraper would be the tallest not only in Krakow but also in Poland as a whole. Construction of the skyscraper began in 1975. But it had to be suspended due to the economic crisis. It broke out in the country in 1981. The competition for the skyscraper project was announced in Poland three years before the start of its construction. A group of architects led by Zdislav Arkat became the winner of the competition.
The project of a unique frame building was developed by them. Its height was supposed to be more than a hundred meters after construction. It was planned to place the congress hall in a high-rise building after completion. Its capacity was supposed to be about 500 seats. Part of the building was to be the location of various offices. It was also planned to open several restaurants and bars in the skyscraper.
