Senosiain Arquitectos Nautilus, Mexico
From series “The Most Bizarre and Fancy Living Houses”Year: 2006.
In Mexico is the strange house 'Nautilus', which reminds from the outside of a shell of the huge Molluske. When you visit the unusual house you can think of it as a monument in the futuristic style or for an unusual attraction, rather than for the living space. The main feature of the so-called building façade is the colorful panel, which is made of the many-colored glass.
The main characteristic of the interior design of the house is the construction of its rooms, which are located spirally and connected with the single staircase. Behind the entrance is the wonderful living room with the numerous exotic plants and the recreation zone. The spiral staircase leads to the cozy bedroom and bathroom, the walls of which are decorated with a beautiful mosaic. On the last floor of the house is the round room with the TV and the beautiful upholstered furniture. The owner of the most original residential house in Mexico is a young family. In the huge mussel, the couple and his two children have lived for several years.
