The amazing Söyembikä Tower is located in Kazan. Its tilt is also visually noticeable. The exact date of construction of this tower is unknown. Most historians believe that it was built at the turn of the 17th-18th centuries. Recent archaeological research has shown that the very first building was built in this place in the middle of the 16th century. The tower is located on the territory of the Kazan Kremlin. Initially, it served as a watchtower.

Its tilt from the vertical is 1.98 meters. Experts do not consider such a significant indicator critical, even though it can frighten many uninformed people. No work was carried out to strengthen the foundation of the watchtower.

Many beautiful legends are associated with the ancient tower. It has the name of the Tatar Queen Syuyumbike today. According to one legend, the Russian Tsar Ivan the Terrible expressed a desire to marry the Queen after the capture of Kazan. He promised to punish the entire Tatar people if she refused. The Queen accepted the proposal. She wanted to save her people. But she ordered Ivan the Terrible to build a high tower in seven days. The Queen's wish was fulfilled. She climbed to the top of the tower when it was completed. The Queen threw herself on the ground. According to another legend, the treasures are kept in the tower.
