The legendary Capital Gate skyscraper is located in Abu Dhabi. It is a true world leader in terms of the level of tilt at present. The height of the skyscraper is 160 meters. Specialists of the famous architectural firm RMJM London worked on its project. About 2.2 billion US dollars were invested in the construction of the skyscraper. Capital Gate is a record holder of the Guinness World Records today. It is marked in it as the building with the highest angle of tilt in the world.

The building leans to the West. The deviation indicator is 18 degrees. The leaning tower of Pisa, which is only 4 degrees off the vertical, seems quite modest in comparison with a skyscraper. Capital Gate was built this way on purpose, unlike many other leaning towers. An innovative engineering approach was used during its construction. The building is strictly vertical only up to the 12th floor. The plates of all the other floors were superimposed with a gap. Its minimum value is 30 centimeters. The skyscraper turned out to be very effective and reliable at the same time. A special foundation gives high strength to the structure. Its depth is 30 meters. 490 strong piles were laid in the foundation. The design of the skyscraper's facade is also very spectacular. It is completely lined with mirror tiles. About 12,5 thousand of them were made for the facade design. The internal structure of the skyscraper is also very unusual. A beautiful conical atrium is located behind its entrance doors.
